Community Activities
In addition to our scheduled activities, you’ll find that there are also plenty of impromptu activities to join in on, from card games and jigsaw puzzles to gardening in our beautiful raised garden beds. We also offer occasional bus outings to locations like the Holland Tulip Festival, Fredrick Meijer Gardens, and the Coast Guard Festival Senior Day.
It’s always our goal to make Christian Haven Home a fun, exciting place to live. No matter when you arrive, or what activities you’re interested in, there’s always something to join in on.
Meals Homemade for You
We know that great food is an important part of life. Food bring us together and make us feel at home. That’s why we work hard to make our food and our mealtimes special. At Christian Haven Home, every meal is homemade, and guests are always welcome. Here, we start every meal with a prayer and end it with a devotion. We also offer beverages, coffee, and snacks mid-morning and in the evening.
The Five Pillars of Our Signature Program
Christian Haven Home’s Signature Program, our series of life enrichment activities and classes, plays an essential role in the lives of our residents. Our program is built on five pillars of wellness. We recognize that as we age, we need to be mindful of maintaining the health of our bodies, our brains, our emotions and our spirits so that we increase the likelihood of not just surviving, but truly thriving.
