Meals Homemade for You
We know that great food is an important part of life. Food bring us together and make us feel at home. That’s why we work hard to make our food and our mealtimes special. At Christian Haven Home, every meal is homemade, and guests are always welcome. Here, we start every meal with a prayer and end it with a devotion. We also offer beverages, coffee, and snacks mid-morning and in the evening.
The Five Pillars of Our Signature Program
Christian Haven Home’s Signature Program, our series of life enrichment activities and classes, plays an essential role in the lives of our residents. Our program is built on five pillars of wellness. We recognize that as we age, we need to be mindful of maintaining the health of our bodies, our brains, our emotions and our spirits so that we increase the likelihood of not just surviving, but truly thriving.
Participate in a discussion of current events, attend a health class, or enjoy a presentation from our local museum.
Take part in a stretching and balance class, walk the neighborhood with our walking club, or grow flowers or vegetables in one of our beautiful raised garden beds.
Enjoy daily mealtime prayers and devotions, join a Bible study or discussion group, or attend a worship service lead by a local church.
Make blankets for babies and veterans, knit a hat for International Aid, or make cards for military personnel overseas.
Attend one of our many musical performances, stroll our beautiful grounds, get a manicure at the beauty shop, and celebrate special occasions.
