Independent and Assisted Living
in Grand Haven, Michigan
Our creative Activity Director provides a full schedule of activities to select from for your entertainment and enrichment. Several activities are led by devoted volunteers from our community.
Activities include musical programs, church services, bible studies, current events discussions, educational programs, museum staff presentations, community service projects, games, inter-generational programs, crafts, and more.
Outside, raised garden beds are available to residents who want to show off their green thumb. Residents have grown gorgeous flowers of all kinds, as well as strawberries, tomatoes, and other veggies. Residents and their guests are encouraged to stroll through our beautiful gardens, then take a rest in the gazebo. During the Coast Guard Festival parade, residents have the best seat in town as the parade goes right past our home. A tent is set up for residents to enjoy the sights, sounds, and a tasty picnic lunch served to them.
Our bus takes residents on occasional outings to locations such as Fredrick Meijer Gardens, the Holland Tulip Festival, and sporting events.
Impromptu activities take place during the day throughout the building. A few residents are often working on a jigsaw puzzle in the sun room, a group is frequently found playing cards in the dining room in the evening, and the computer in our library is often used by residents playing games, keeping in touch with family, and getting the latest news.
